It was a community of people who loved music, pure and simple. Its users cared about each other and helped to share their rare music, most of witch would be almost impossible to obtain any other way. It introduced me to so many awesome artists that i would never have gone out and purchased if i had seen their cd in a store, now im a fan and if the album is that good i will buy it and see them on tour if they come to my town. Oinks users were not morons who just flame each other because it makes them feel important (a la torrentspy etc.). I actually has many intelligent discussions and received a lot of good help from people when i was just a newbie starting out. Anyone who bags oink and its users are just sad little people with clearly no music in their life. Goodbye oink, i will miss you dearly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6399236165885232892.post-78505286434023298002007-10-24T15:04:00.000-07:002007-10-24T15:04:00.000-07:00One, my mom had breast cancer and I am not offende...One, my mom had breast cancer and I am not offended.. That's what a night of crying and a lack of new pre-release albums will do to you. It was thoughtless on my part, and I know that's the main reason of why we're having this debate right now. Cancer is a very serious issue, and nothing should replace the support against its evils.

Anyway, OiNK pink is slightly darker than breast cancer pink, so technically we aren't stealing that specific part of the spectrum.

This collective mourning is just all a part of the healing process, and pink represents OiNK. Roses don't fight with red table cloths over the color, so why should we fight here?

We need to purge our emotions with each other. So let's not hold anything back.Shinyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16933676470879049860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6399236165885232892.post-19391358640746381962007-10-24T13:54:00.000-07:002007-10-24T13:54:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Shinyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16933676470879049860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6399236165885232892.post-66509433597385815052007-10-24T11:38:00.000-07:002007-10-24T11:38:00.000-07:00Yeah, in the UK at least your supposed Oink day of...Yeah, in the UK at least your supposed Oink day of mourning is the national everybody wear something pink to highlight your support for the fight against breast cancer.
